Club Vision
To maintain and build on the family oriented, inclusive club that we have, and to encourage the wide variety of competitive, historic and recreational interests of our members.
Our Club
Our Club Started back in 1947 and has run continuously since then.
We currently have around 350 members with ages ranging from 5yrs to 75yrs with interests in nearly all forms of Motorcycle sport and recreation, particularly Motocross, Trials, Enduro, Road racing, Historic touring and Trail riding.
We maintain two Club facilities, the Morrison St, Clubrooms in Maffra is our headquarters, displaying our clubs memorabilia and a historic record of motorcycling in Gippsland. This venue is capable of seating around 100 people, it has kitchen facilities and is available for hire.
The Clubs second venue is our 40 grid Motocross facility at Newry, an undulating 2.25 km track with a mixture of surface types, it presents an ideal and comparatively safe competitive arena and training facility for our off-road riders of all ages.
Facilities at Newry include a canteen which operates on all club days and most events, wash down bays with a good water supply and showers/toilets for those wishing to camp overnight at events
